From a mother's craft to a small studio.
Crochet has been part of Ghazala's hands for as long as she can remember — first as a child watching her mother, then as a young woman making pieces for her own home.
For years she crocheted gifts for family — blankets, hats, small bags. Friends would ask her to make pairs for their daughters. Word travelled. Slowly, an unmistakable signature began to emerge: a soft pointed toe, a careful heel, and three small hanging circles like beads strung on thread.
The shift to footwear came naturally, but it came with a challenge. Traditional wool — the yarn most crochet artists rely on — wasn't durable enough for shoes that get worn every day on Pakistani streets. After months of testing, Ghazala moved to parachute thread: stronger, lighter, and holds its shape beautifully.
That single material change made all the difference. Suddenly, the same handmade craft could be worn daily, washed gently, and still look new after months.
Today, Ghazala Crochet ships across Pakistan — through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Daraz — and now through this website. Every pair is still made by hand in the same home studio, with the same care she put into the first one.
What hasn't changed is the philosophy. Each pair is made-to-order. There is no warehouse, no factory line. Just Ghazala, her thread, her hands, and the next customer.
How a pair is made

Design
Each pattern starts as a sketch — tested by hand to make sure the shape sits beautifully on the foot.
Crochet
Ghazala crochets each pair from scratch, one stitch at a time. A single pair takes 6 to 9 hours.
Shape
The crocheted upper is fitted onto a padded sole, hand-stitched and reinforced for daily wear.
Finish
Final touches — toe and heel reinforcement, signature stitch on the inside, and a quality check.
Pack
Wrapped in tissue, placed in a Ghazala Crochet box, and shipped with a handwritten note.
